Something I want people to know about me:

I home school my children and I love it.  It is probably my favorite thing in life.  My children are such a gift from God and I count it a joy to disciple them.

Why I serve in ministry:

I want to see people come to know Jesus!  Only Jesus can bring true peace, true healing and true salvation.  I want the world to know Him like I do.

Interests:

I enjoy reading, cooking, spending time with family and friends.

Something people wouldn’t think about me:

I love our little pet hamster.  Mark bought the kids this hamster about a year ago although I totally pro-tested.  I did NOT want another pet (we have two dogs and two cats) but we got him and now the little guy has grown on me. I even find myself giving him special treats!  He is so cute.

Favorite movies:

Honestly, I usually cannot make it through a movie without falling asleep.

Music interests:

Worship music, classical, even old hymns…basically anything that is uplifting and glorifies God.

Favorite books:

The Bible…of course.  I also enjoy reading Lamplighter books (if you do not know about these books, look them up online…They are amazing!), biographies, cookbooks, and books that help me become a better Christian, mother, wife, teacher etc.

If you only had one scripture you could give someone, what would it be?

Psalm 91 (This scripture sums up Gods protection for those who follow Him.  It has always brought me comfort and security in troubling times.)
